Honoured to present this simple poster about the work of MedSupplyDrive UK, a charity that delivered half a million protective equipment items to healthcare workers during the UK's COVID-19 peaks, @WestCamHub today. This story belongs to my fellow volunteers and to HCWs.

My colleagues are inspiring!
Restless leg syndrome affects up to 1 in 10 older adults. It causes an unpleasant and overwhelming urge to move your legs. Scientists @DonorHealthBTRU have found over 140 new genetic risk variants - and say these may point to potential treatments. cam.ac.uk/research/news/gene…

Happy #ScoliosisAwarenessMonth! I have had the dual privilege throughout my life to (1) receive quality care since diagnosis and (2) make my patient voice heard in hospital, research, and arts settings. 💚 to all who have made that possible.

Today marks the beginning of #StrokeAwarenessMonth. I've learned so much from stroke survivors and their families during the last few years working with @DivaManocha and team developing an assistive tech app for aphasia and related conditions. Just wanted to say thank you.

It was great fun to run a @Cambridge_Fest event last week to engage in dialogues about blood donation research with children and families 💙 It's an honour to have the opportunity to learn from diverse publics.
We had a great time at the #CamFest CAST day last weekend! Thank you to all that joined 😀 it was great to see so many take part in our running activity 🏃‍♀️ and learn about or INTERVAL study and the importance of having breaks between blood donations!
