Neros was founded in 2023 with a mission to build the West’s drone industrial base. In 2025, Neros became the highest-output American drone manufacturer within a 15,000-square-foot facility in El Segundo. But faced with the reality of modern warfare as seen in Ukraine, we were still just a drop in the bucket. In 2026, we’re scaling our productive capacity by 100x. Today, Neros is proud to announce our expansion into Millennium One, a 250,000-square-foot flagship facility in Torrance, CA. This factory is the cornerstone of Project Millennium, our initiative to build a drone industrial base that is truly competitive with China. We will build world-class systems, at a scale in the millions, and at internationally competitive cost right here on domestic soil. Millennium One is a decisive step towards bridging the critical production gap to our adversaries. Beyond final assembly, we are also verticalizing components across the entire drone value chain, onshoring high-risk subsystems to ensure our domestic manufacturing capabilities are insulated from external supply shocks. Neros will provide the ultimate deterrent and the asymmetric advantage the West requires. We cannot afford to fail. Read our full vision for Project Millennium: neros.tech/articles/project-…

We've officially shipped all 2,400 drones ordered through the Drone Dominance Program's Gauntlet I, with 1,040 already verified by the Department of War. While the gauntlets are a test of a single drone's capabilities, fulfilling the subsequent orders is where manufacturers compete on speed and scale. The leaderboard speaks for itself. Congratulations to the engineering and production teams at Neros who made this happen! Onward to Gauntlet II.

Introducing Crossbow Block 2, our next generation ground control station (GCS) for the Archer FPV platform. It’s the direct result of operator feedback from the field – every decision informed by the people depending on Archer in contested environments. The result is a system with significantly improved performance, and half the size. → Maintains our 25 km range with a 50% reduction in total system size — the complete GCS (radio and pilot box) is now wearable on a plate carrier, offering unmatched operator mobility. A displaced radio configuration remains available when the mission calls for it. → More than 2x the beam width and dual receivers for redundancy so operators can focus on their target rather than antenna orientation. Redesigned antennas with reduced profile and reinforced joints for extra durability. → Push-pull harness connections across goggles, handset, and radio, enabling fast, reliable installation in low-light and high-stress scenarios. → Improved analog-to-digital conversion with low latency, high resolution USB video for ATAK and other C2 integrations. → Weather-resistant and ruggedized enclosures across both the radio and pilot box. We’re proud to share that Crossbow Block 2 is delivering to customers today, and will be fielded in the upcoming Gauntlet 2 of Drone Dominance.

Proud to welcome @RepEllzey to our Millennium One factory last week! While on site, he met with the teams scaling production of our FPV drone systems and saw firsthand the manufacturing base we’re scaling right here on US soil with an adversary-free supply chain. He even got flight time with an Archer and (no surprise for a lifelong pilot), he's a natural.

Neros is proud to announce our 2nd place finish in the Department of War's Drone Dominance Program Gauntlet I, having competed with American and international manufacturers across multiple dimensions of battle-readiness from long range to urban strike scenarios. Neros' system was the top performing American platform, following closely behind a Ukrainian fiber system. It’s no surprise that those who ranked highest at Gauntlet 1 are manufacturers that have deployed their drones in true combat settings. At Neros, we understand that paper requirements and simulation can’t compete with actual user feedback, and leverage our direct lines of communication with Joint Forces and allied warfighters to rapidly iterate, maximizing the real-world usability of our platform. This advantage was made clear in the Urban Strike mission where nine companies achieved perfect scores, and military operator feedback was used to determine the final rankings. In this exercise – given the choice – America’s warfighters chose Neros as their #1 drone system based on ease of use and utility. Critically, Neros’ team never had to intervene with military personnel to provide supplemental coaching or troubleshooting during missions, a testament to the intuitive operation and flat learning curve of our Archer platform. In the hands of these military operators, our drones were among the few systems piloted to every target distance and able to make a direct strike at the max 10 km range. To the team at Neros: this achievement belongs to your tireless work on the factory floor, at test ranges and across our engineering labs, both at home and abroad. To the Department of War and the operators at Fort Benning: thank you for championing a procurement model that rewards speed, scalability, and real-world performance. We’re already integrating what we’ve learned in preparation for Gauntlet II, and we will continue onshoring the drone industrial base to deliver the asymmetric advantage the West needs. What does American Drone Dominance mean? Behind the contracts and the hype lies the truth that America is still orders of magnitude behind Chinese drone production. The massive undertaking needed to create actual credible deterrence requires a dominant drone, a secure component supply chain, and the industrial capacity to build at scale. The Department of War's Drone Dominance Program is building real momentum, and Neros is at the forefront. Read more here: neros.tech/articles/american…
