So impressed with the grit of @tomascooking & team. Alembic applies pandemic-era contact tracing maths to marketing attribution, which companies like NVIDIA use to predict ROI from marketing spend! 🤯! LFG!
My company Alembic just raised their $14M Series A round! Support for the round from Jensen Huang, Joe Montana and Jefferey Katzenberg. It's been a long journey and so proud of the team and excited for what is next!

I don’t post here anymore because this site is now overrun and mismanaged, but I thought I’d mention that collection agencies for Twitter are now calling my house, for Twitter’s debts, 10 years after I quit. Just, wow.

Microsoft owns the trademark for X. This is just too good.
Community note
Microsoft only holds this trademark for videogame-related services; this wouldn't affect Twitter. However, Meta holds the "X" trademark for "online social networking services... social networking services in the fields of entertainment, gaming and application development..." tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=87…

Just remember that “X” is the universal symbol for close, dismiss, or cancel. Bye Twitter, it was a good run.

How many companies had to send out a "Twitter fucked us and we lost access to the API because Elon wants 42k/mo" emails after this weekend? Looking at you. Microsoft, Hootsuite and many others...

This bill is unimplemetable, ridiculous, and an affront to freedom of speech and privacy. How about we just block Utah entirely? Maybe that’s what they intended. axios.com/2023/03/24/utah-li…

Agree they might be killing SMS entirely.
Replying to @nelson
I agree with speculation that removing SMS is about Twitter saving money. Gong off the data here I bet Twitter's SMS bill has been in the ballpark of $10M/year for authentication SMS, probably less. x.com/RachelTobac/status/162…

I’d also like to state that Twitter’s API has been throwing a shitload of errors all morning. Guess 2.6% of (2fa sms holding) users can break the site now

If your caught up in phony stark’s latest 2FA mess, and turned you off, go get a Yubikey or install Authy. It’s better than SMS

This is a blog post from 2008 about Twitter and SMS costs: blog.twitter.com/en_us/a/200… While people complain about the 2FA security change for Twitter Blue only, it just continues the long pattern of SMS costs affecting Twitter

2FA is not secure on SMS, but breaking security and doing it on a long weekend is chaos. Most will turn it off, sadly. blog.twitter.com/en_us/topic…
