A masterclass from Chapman, Giroud, Walcott, Richards and Murphy this evening. I may be in a minority but I think the BBC's coverage is far more watchable than that of ITV. And the picture quality is better. #WorldCup

I reckon this Belgium-Egypt game is the most compelling of the tournament so far - two evenly matched teams playing attacking football. #WorldCup

We're about 5 hours in to ITV's coverage and I don't think they showed the Australia goals, did they? May have missed it.

The BBC are saving so much money by not going to the World Cup itself. They could at least have a mornings MOTD for the games the day before? Having to find the highlights on YouTube is fine for me, but my 83 year old dad is really struggling to find them. Poor from @BBCSport

Every World Cup or Euros both @BBCSport and @ITVSport put on a 1hr highlights show that few watch because we've watched the games already. This year, when we actually need them, we wake up to rubbish online packages with no surrounding punditry. Come on guys, know your audience

The failure of BBC and ITV to show a #WorldCup highlights show - seemimgly on the basis we shoukd be happy to watch highlights on their apps or Youtube- seems quite exclusionary/discrimatory against the older generation and the less digitally-savvy. They pay the licence fee too!

Very odd to switch on my TV this morning and find no coverage on any terrestrial channels of the overnight events at the World Cup. Firing up iPlayer/ITVX/Youtube is too much of a pfaff for many (especially older generation). #WorldCup
