Mutiple new T-Mobile sites in the Houston market are getting “aluminum wire” signs. I assume the vandalism and theft here has been really high for them.

Early 2024 crown small cell in parking lot
Mid 2026 Cabinets installed
Weird and now a pointless small cell. This is the only macro in the area T-Mobile isn’t on.

T-Mobile installed this shelter in 2023 it’s 2025 and still nothing. I’m curious to what type of delay causes that. Lease signed and ground gear installed and 2 years nothing. They also had crown install a small cell in the parking lot replacing the sprint mobilite one. Weird.

T-Mobile memorial city mall area the antennas are next to me and it’s struggling they also have over 10 small cells. The only solution is mmw at this point the sheer usage to be causing this is crazy. The mall also has das system with n41.

Tmo is so congested it’s insane between the blue areas the 3 macros red X, 2 mini towers magenta, 5green cc small cells serve
2 hebs, Kroger,Walmart, Sam’s,Costco, 25 apartment complexes, 50 plus restaurants and 50 plus stores etc. thousands of homes and 13 miles of busy highway

Yellow are future sites. Also 1/2 phones in this are on tmo. The Richmond area has even more apartments and houses under construction. This sites are getting hammered to the point they show high usage even at 2am. Basically thousands of users on 9 Nokia ahec antennas.

3.7 mile spacing is super far areas with the same amount of usage have sites every .7-1.2 miles apart. The sheer amount of users on those 3 towers is insane.

Found a new Verizon collocation using the new antenna in Fulshear and another in progress T-Mobile collocation down the road. Plus a new power line site in Richmond tx in a perfect spot. Over 13 new Verizon macros this year in the general area I check plus like 25 n77 small cells

T-Mobile upgraded backhaul to 5gb and 1 day later here is the speed next to the site. Most congested site in the state. Das nodes should be on soon curious to see if that can save it.

I was testing a TPRIORITY LINE yesterday and it FAILED a test. It was struggling all day maybe slightly less than magenta max. It wasn’t that great.
@SriniGopalan the qci for plans need to be improved and better network management as even the highest priority line wasn’t good.

The whole Bryan college station area has congestion issues and struggles to break 200 megs on sites. Packet loss and elevated pings happen daily. The network struggles to load webpages on n41. The n41 is only 90 but the management of the network is horrible and unstable.

One major issue is packet loss still occurs on Tpriority. It’s less bad than regular but still unacceptable. This shouldn’t happen on this type of first responder line even though I’m testing on one of Texas most congested sites.

T-Mobile Tpriority makes a huge difference in congested markets. The line is much more stable it pretty much always works.

Testing t priority vs regular magenta max plan in college station. I can tell it gets similar or better speeds but is way more stable. I’m going to testing more sites at 5pm to get if I can get a bigger difference. So far n25 n71 have more difference than n41.

TESTING ON THE NEW ONECONNECT plan by AT&T. Best new phenomenal feature rich plan available I always get amazing performance due to atts 5600 tower ADVANTAGE over T-Mobile. Defiantly didn’t stand in specific rare spot.
