WEEKS later and im still getting texts from freaky Nikki is crazy but I love it! Obsession really is THAT movie

All those interviews from others show how hard this role actually was, the degree of nuance and control Inde shows is amazing.

I rarely hear people talk about but I absolutely love the scene in Obsession where Nikki is taking a shower and Bear is telling her about the boys night. The tension in that scene is so intense and the acting is amazing from Michael and Inde truly a perfect scene imo

Finally saw "Backrooms" The movie is not scary at all because it's premise could never happen in real life. This is why I'm not a huge fan of "paranormal" or "supernatural" horror films. A movie needs to be grounded in reality to be truly unsettling IMO. But even worse, the movie is BORING. There's no explanation for why or how the alternate dimension exists. It just does. This COULD have been kinda cool if we got any sort of explanation for WHY it exists or HOW it creates dopplegangers of people/objects, but we don't. Nothing any of the characters do have any weight. A former MRI company is researching why it exists? Not the government? Who else knows about this? Only a small number of people? Again, no real backstory. Everything is so vague. There is no IMPACT. When the characters die it's whatever. There's a giant pirate cannibal clone that kills people which could be cool but it's just weird & clunky. When the movie finally ends, you're left wondering what was the fucking point of it all. Are we sure David Cronenberg didn't direct this? VERDICT: GARBAGE

i love how in a lot of shots in obsession not only is nikki hidden in the shadows, her face is always disoriented in a way. it’s a trippy and creepy detail.

Backrooms was ok. I was expecting to follow him more while he was on there. I wanted longer scenes of him getting loss and running from whatever was in there. It didn’t suck but I was a little disappointed

I liked Passenger. Great jump scares. Didn’t deserve the hate it got
