Talking to more and more Heads that are struggling to cope with the demands of the job. I'm convinced we need to redesign our roles, acutely assess how we spend our time, re-evaluate priorities and change. We can't work the way we did 5 or 10 years ago, the game has changed.

This week, thousands of resident doctors have been turned away from NHS jobs – as we warned the Government they would be.
We are calling on NHS England to urgently address this situation.
The specialty recruitment process is not fit for purpose & must be fixed once and for all.

Adaptive teaching = high quality teaching
Often good teachers don’t realise what they are actually doing to adapt to learners’ needs; it’s done on autopilot.
Breaking down the granular detail of practice&being able to verbalise WHY it works for each learner is so valuable.
