BHM NIGHT CAP - Felton Grandison Clark dedicated over three decades serving as president of Southern University. Clark spearheaded growth, leading to an increase in enrollment from 1,500 to over 11k. At his retirement, SU was the largest HBCU in America, based on enrollment.

Sadie Roberts-Joseph was a true community treasure. A life long activist, Mrs. Sadie established the Baton Rouge Odell S. Williams Now & Then Museum of African-American History in 2001. She lead many efforts to educate our community by building bridges between generations.
