Morocco are genuinely going to be a problem in this tournament. The intensity, chemistry, character, and quality of football they’re playing is unreal. They deserve to be mentioned in the same conversation as France, Spain, Portugal, and England.

There was a moment late in the game where Bouaddi was actually clapping (appreciating a pass from the left-sided centre-back). Receives it, turns, and instantly starts looking forward, carrying and progressing the ball. His level of scanning before receiving is seriously advanced. Can play in 360 degrees. Recycles possession smoothly, shifting from short passes to long switches that change the point of attack. Covers ground with those long legs, handles transitions well, and reads danger early. All at 18 years old. That's nuts. Brilliant defensive midfielder, man. Proper talent.
