Kurt Cobain fascinated me as a 90’s westcoast hiphop head.
Nirvana’s Nevermind album turned 30 today,
nothing but love there.
90’s grunge and 90’s hiphop had a lot of the same reasons to be super angsty as musical cousins. 🔥

The Wire got me thru some TOUGH times.
I’ve run that series front to back probably a dozen times.
Michael K Williams scene stealing performance was a big part of it.
One of the few artists that I made any podcast, interview or role he played appointment viewing.

my cub went thru all the stages of grief watching the fiends entrance that I did watching Vader and Papa Shango as a kid. ..

All Eyes on me really upped and turned 25 on me today.
I vividly remember buying the first of MANY copies of that double disc at Sam Goodie
scratched, lost, lent out and never got back, forgot on the bus etc
