I’m super new to the energy sector but it blows my mind that we wasted 3.6 million homes worth of solar energy because of a lack of demand and storage on the network when the average bill is set to go up by 30%

Solar generation surpassed 15 GW for the first time ever in California yesterday! This milestone was hit at 12:45PM PDT according to @California_ISO.
At that time, renewables served an impressive 95% of the load in California significantly reducing the emissions of the grid.
