The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. One really cool thing about AI is enabling things that didn’t make economic sense in the hobby space Phase is a project to build MTG commander in rust with AI driving the bulk of the implementation of ~30k unique cards into a parsing rules engine Previously thought not possible due to the number of interactions and the amount of man hours it would take to upkeep. After a mere few months it’s here and actually playable (with some bugs and some cards not yet implemented). Very excited to see more projects like this pop up.
