#DisclosureDay is a solid trip back to vintage Sci-FI Spielberg. Emily Blunt admirably carries the film on her back with a sensational emotional performance and the rest of the cast is good enough behind her and the John Williams score is superb. The story does spend too much time building up to a greater purpose but, it’s still a profound and thought-provoking experience. Liked it.

BATMAN BEGINS was released 21 years ago today. This remains my favorite Batman film. Christopher Nolan wholeheartedly embraced the Batman mythos, giving us a Gotham City dripping with BLADE RUNNER-esque atmosphere and a Batman that was flawed and human.

DISCLOSURE DAY is flawed, but when it’s time to land the plane, it absolutely nails it. One thing is certain, Spielberg is still magic. The fact we can get an original theatrical release from him in 2026 feels like a miracle.

#DisclosureDay is an inconsistent journey that leads to a brilliant destination. A messy narrative w/ mostly flat characters that struggle to go anywhere outside of the central question. Yet the payoff is worth it all. Blunt is outstanding. Camera, sound, score all beautiful!
