My university roommate just reminded me that one time, in first year, I signed up to be a guinea pig in a psychology study and it was the best study ever...

Did you know that, by the age of 12, most kids have already spent an entire YEAR of their life online? That's why we're proud to introduce Media Stamped, brought to you by Global Citizen, Sinking Ship Entertainment, and our host, Nicole Stamp!

Under a kitchen cabinet, I just found an absolutely enormous, weirdly plump raisin. I don't really eat raisins, so I was very perplexed. I stared and poked at it for several minutes before I realized. It... it wasn't really a raisin. It was... It was an old grape

Last month my longtime friend, Canadian musician @NickZubeck, was on tour with the band @GreatLakeSwim. He was in a terrible accident & got a severe brain injury. I started a GoFundMe for him. Please contribute if you can! Retweeting this helps too ❤️‍🩹 gofund.me/aa3f1db2

Do you ever think about the fact that inside of you, There’s an organ that’s filled with a liquid which evolved just to dissolve meat.... .... and you’re MADE OF MEAT

^^ This is a heartburn thought. I’m being dissolved from the inside out by heartburn and it’s terrible and I was complaining about it .... but then I realized that the amazing thing is that any of us has made it this long at all

Cats eat mice. But if you were a polar bear, you probably wouldn’t know that. Imagine a mouse told a polar bear, “A cat attacked me!” Imagine the polar bear said, “No cat has ever attacked ME, so your story must be a lie.” .... Abusers don’t attack EVERYONE.

Alternatives for disability metaphors: I was blind to that fact = I was unaware of that fact. Tone-deaf = inappropriate, insulting, poorly-timed. Lame = Awkward, uncool. Insane / Crazy = wild, outrageous, chaotic. Crippling = Devastating, catastrophic, incapacitating.

How much money would we all save if we just liked, really liked, our bodies and faces exactly as they are? Been thinking a lot about this a lot lately. And it’s got me feeling things hard.

It's easy to replace and the alternative words are always far more interesting and precise. Thanks @nicolestamp for originally bringing this to my attention and guiding me through it recently.

I’ve been trying to be transparent in my professional life - respectfully & openly say whatever’s actually going on from my perspective. I’m shocked by how effective it is! I did get massively burned once last year, but in dozens of situations it’s worked. Strong recommend!
