Ten years after the fairytale, #lcfc are relegated to League One - a consequence of huge mismanagement, negligence & ruinous decisions. The cycle of football? Absolute rubbish. Completely self-inflicted. Leicester had it all and have totally blown it telegraph.co.uk/football/202

To the owner, senior management and players at Leicester City. You've got exactly what you deserve. It's been an utter shitshow. Gutless, spineless, rudderless. Hang your heads in shame. Dereliction of duty. #lcfc

Too little. Too late. Our club has back-to-back relegations, led by a clueless, naive and often absent chairman. The people that run the club have got everything they deserve. This is purely on them. The fans and staff are the ones that suffer. King Power must go.

Huge, growing disconnect between Leicester City fans and their players on top of the huge, growing disconnect between fans and board. It’s down to poor leadership from Top and Rudkin, poor recruitment and bringing in certain players who are big on wages but short on fight. #LCFC

“You’re not fit to wear the shirt” Remember why they’re not fit to. Remember why these ‘players’ are here in the first place. Remember why they’re looking at back-to-back relegations. âžĄïž Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha Absent. Not fit to run a market stall. King Power out.

Revolution, not evolution. Sincerely, who is advising Top? Premier ambitions, amateur decisions. Yet again. You don’t fix a broken club by promoting the architects of our downfall. We reached dizzying heights under Vichai’s ruthless King Power. Top’s toothless King Power now seems intent on setting ever lower lows. We needed revolution, not evolution. We’ll go again at QPR - spread the word.
We can today announce an evolved senior leadership structure designed to provide clarity of responsibility, strengthen governance and support our long-term development both on and off the pitch.

On February 28th, we’ll march to protect the future of our club. It’s time for King Power to sell. It’s time for change. #UniteforChange #LCFC

Marti Cifuentes isn’t the main problem. The owners are. Years of poor recruitment, zero strategy, and little accountability. The result: yesterday, this season and a future in League One. Rock bottom is coming. Nothing will change until it does. And it must.

This has all the hallmarks of a manager that has lost the plot & given up. Players have given up. Fans divided & have given up. Owner hasn’t cared for years. Where do we go from here? Finances are beyond repair, points deduction imminent & a squad of overpaid players with an attitude problem. As unacceptable as our performances are, you cannot fix a sinking ship by swapping the captain. Sacking the manager just treats a symptom, not the cause. Our foundations are rotten to the core. #LCFC #ProjectReset

Good luck to Marti Cifuentes at Leicester City. Good manager and man-manager. Likeable, modest, hard-working individual who people instinctively warm to. I spent an hour in his company once, chatting over a coffee, all off the record, and came away enthused. Really hope he does well at Leicester, who desperately need a popular, engaging character to unite around. Board has to back Cifuentes fully by investing in the squad. Under-achieving players have to listen to him, respond and raise their game. Leicester's crop of academy prospects can certainly flourish under Cifuentes. And let’s hope those talents thinking of leaving the relegated club change their minds after some time in Cifuentes’ uplifting company. But he will need to adapt and tweak his preferred possession-fixated approach to more assertive football craved by Leicester fans. Encouraging to hear Cifuentes promise “joyful football
attractive, attacking football”. From a Vardy party to a Marti party? #LCFC 🩊

A preferred candidate this week you say? Like, almost three months after our relegation was confirmed? Glad to see no time’s been wasted by our oh-so-impressive leadership team. #lcfc @lcfc
Chris Wilder and Sean Dyche among numerous candidates #lcfc have interviewed in last few days. #swfc Danny Rohl also serious contender but more complicated to get him. Two other unnamed candidates too, but Leicester hope to identify a preferred candidate this week.

Disgusting if true. What has the #LCFC board allowed our club to become?
#lcfc are moving closer to appointing a new head coach. Gary O'Neil and Chris Wilder are both on the shortlist after interviews last week in London with 'Top' & Rudkin. Other candidates have been spoken to and Leicester hope to appoint later this week

Leicester City owe their fans an explanation as to why it took so long to announce a decision on parting company with Ruud van Nistelrooy. Right decision but why the wait? It was clear a change was needed at the end of the season. Maybe it’s to do with the financial calendar or pursuit of a successor but Ruud didn’t deserve being left in limbo like this. The fans didn’t deserve the uncertainty. Recruitment and outgoings would have been complicated/delayed. Leicester have to get their next appointment right. Much is right about the Club - stadium, training ground, fanbase, some of the players, academy, community operation - but the mismanagement at board level is deeply frustrating. #LCFC 🩊
