That sign is pure provocation. In a London where plurality should be synonymous with coexistence, you come across this gem that screams "occupied territory." Because that’s exactly what they’re saying without saying it: "This space is no longer yours, nor your customs’." But, of course, you won’t see this denounced in the mainstream media or by the politicians in power, who preach integration while allowing ghettos to form. In the end, the ones who always lose are us, the regular folks, watching as our space shrinks while they preach tolerance by way of imposition.
I mean, what starts with "don’t walk your dog" ends with "this land is no longer yours." But, of course, you can’t say that too loudly.
