11 people in Australia were killed today by gunmen as they celebrated the first night of Chanukah at Sydney’s Bondi Beach. Targeted because they were Jews. May their memories be a blessing.
We place menorahs in our windows. Message to the world: Light will outlive darkness.

Paediatric patient came in with sore throat. While waiting for rapid Strep test to complete we glanced back at the Covid-19 RAT result: positive. Let that be a reminder that masking in health care makes sense, if you don’t want everyone in your waiting room and staff to get sick.

I return with a 2025 Covid-19 and flu vaccine clinic for our patients. Jabapalooza, as a patient referred to it in 2021, helped protect more than 20,000 people in Ottawa. I continue to teach medical students to run vaccine clinics, and to demonstrate that family medicine leads.

Insane. The @OCDSB, in adjudicating a complaint about a trustee's alleged antisemitism, revealed that they cannot do so because they do not have a definition of antisemitism. Tell me again how there's no such thing as systemic antisemitism.
