A fascinating morning spent with @MentalHealthCop and others on ASW/AMHP issues with a particular focus on how Right Care Right Person has been implemented in England/Wales and the challenges for it's introduction into NI. A lot to think about and get right!!
Two things;
1. The millions spent was from the pockets of workers and patients and families visiting their loved ones.
2. We're in an age where car parking charges are propping up the finance of our health service. Think about that.

A pay recommendation of 3.3% is utterly disgraceful and is a pay cut when inflation is marginally above this and the economic outlook is so unpredictable. Forecasts of 2% inflation is totally aspirational and currently unrealistic. The Minister non-committal as per more £££'s!
The Health Minister has reaffirmed his commitment to an on-time pay settlement for health and social care staff.
Minister Nesbitt was responding to the NHS Pay Review Body's latest report.
