If your startup feels illegal it's actually a good sign IMO. Some examples: - Uber / Lyft felt illegal (regular people use their regular cars as taxis). - OpenAI felt illegal (scraping the web). - Coinbase felt illegal (crypto).

agree. That’s why all I care about at this point is the price. I don’t feel any model has a big difference in day to day tasks.
Hot take: a lot of people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference if they were randomly routed between gpt-5.5, opus-4.8, or fable-5 for their day to day work

Quietly, slowly, when no one noticed. Then “overnight success”!

I can't believe Apple listened to the internet and fixed the corner radius on Mac. This would never have happened in Jobs time, he probably would have said we weren't seeing it properly 🤣

This is a great move by Cloudflare IMO
Cloudflare has acquired Vite / VoidZero Void is vite's fullstack Intertia-like framework. This gives Cloudflare control over the entire stack. They have all the primitives from frontend/backend framework, linting, testing, formatting, JS runtime, db, kv, inference, blob storage, access, etc... smart move. A tidy package they can hand to an LLM to make a site.

Is it just me or OpenClaw vanished like it never existed? 🤔

I used @Remotion and it's Claude skill to create a video for Subwatch V2, it's not perfect, but it's was created with only couple of prompts in a few minutes. We truly live in amazing times!🤯

Agree. I don’t know if they have the money to enable free repos at this scale, but they should seriously consider building a GitHub alternative at this point.
Linear is spending a ton of energy on agent features that seem of dubious use while they should probably be building a Github competitor instead to take advantage of the opportunity in that space that is a very logical fit for them.

Yeah, I had a short run with Supabase, but I migrated from there as soon as I can. I only one production project there.
RLS was a mistake and folks exposing that level of complexity to less technical users is asking for trouble. It was a mistake in Firebase. It’s a mistake in Supabase. It will be a mistake in the next product too. I personally - even knowing how to secure it - would never touch it. It’s the worst security footgun you can imagine. One small mistake and your data is available to the world.

I remember Elon shed some tears over it. Don’t listen to the “experts”, they’ll always say it can’t be done. Build it anyway!
when spacex was getting started, the first and last men to walk on the moon testified before congress against it. gene cernan told congress commercial space companies "do not yet know what they don't know." he said the boeings and lockheed martins were "the folks who have been working on everything we've done for the last 50 years. they know how it can be done." neil armstrong said he was "not confident" the newcomers could achieve their goals. together with jim lovell they warned it would put america on "a long downward slide to mediocrity." spacex now launches more rockets than every country on earth combined. the experts will always tell you it can't be done. build it anyway!

AI helped me ship faster. No doubt about it. But I always take some time to figure out what the LLM did and if it can be better. I bet a lot of people will soon learn about “technical debt” the hard way.
