Infrastructure Minister, Liz Kimmins, has announced the early reopening of the A45 Ballynakilly Road, Coalisland following the successful completion of the replacement of the Creenagh Bridge and carriageway realignment scheme.

Two years ago, an SNP government propped up by the Green Party changed Scotland's interim emissions targets to restart major roadbuilding.
There's even less political reason for Stormont not to do the same.

DFI and DAERA (which is the lead department for climate change) have appealed the case. Their case in the appeal seems to introduce new evidence and arguments about the draft Climate Action Plan and claimed the judge misinterpreted their earlier climate analysis. 2/3
The judge is upset because he believes DFI and DAERA are arguing that he misinterpreted their previous evidence, yet (he says) the arguments they're presenting now are not the ones he ruled on. So he has accused them of trying to "gaslight" him. There is no final ruling yet. 3/3
