The UK and US governments seem to be putting pretty big bets on a silver bullet vaccine. Full credit to the amazing scientists working night and day to create one, but I’m not sure big stakes gambling is great public policy.
Just took a walk on my local high street in Islington and counted at least 6 shops/restaurants that have or are closing, ranging from indie coffee shops to big clothing chains. And this is just the beginning. #buildbackbetter
