We need to abolish child interviews at age 2.5 yrs. If the objective is to match parent aspirations with school, a parent conversation is needed. And if the intent is to ascertain the right class for the child, observe them, not assess them.

Heard of so many stories where a 2.5 to 4 yr old child froze or chose not to speak during a school admission interview hence failed the interview!l (bbay schools). This sounds beyond absurd, redundant and not to mention elitist. How can u base a childs admission on one incident!
