A jury found Derek Chauvin guilty of murdering George Floyd. The conviction of one individual is a small measure of justice when we have a system that remains plagued with centuries-worth of racism in the law and in practice. I pray that this will be a catalyst for real change.

Yes, dropping out of school does make it hard to afford a house. Surprisingly, so does decades of institutional disprivilege. npr.org/2017/05/03/526655831…
Poor life choices generally are that person's fault. Dropping out of school, gang membership, choice to do criminal deeds, etc..acts that make housing and employment difficult.
