I once believed that choosing a career in psychotherapy based solely on the effort I invested in becoming a functioning human being was flawed reasoning and a poor foundation. But now, I wonder if training myself to be my own parent, teacher, guide, therapist, general, savior - driven by need and necessity, but also desire, wanting to know more about myself and consequently the world - and wanting to share what I've learned with others, to not have that remain something only for me, is not bad reasoning at all.
I am somewhat an expert on my own peculiarities and my own path to becoming myself, and I am sure that will be of use to at least some. Ones that have followed paths such as my mine, and share my vision and desires.
