After all the dirty tricks, the lies, & the vitriol by Sheffield Labour, they still lost. I trust they will reflect on their actions & think carefully about how they campaign in the future. Thank you to my family and my campaign team who have been amazing throughout #4MoreYears

Sheffield Wednesday will complete one of the greatest survival missions in Championship history if they avoid defeat at Sunderland tomorrow. 🤞 Having fought back from a seemingly impossible position, how are you feeling ahead of the final day, Owls fans? 🤔 #CCP | #SWFC

Late to the party but #BikesAtPollingStations and teenage daughter home from uni just to vote. And a @SheffKidMass flag because our vote is for safer active travel.

#BHS24 cycling good for hip pain, muscle strength, and cardiovascular fitness. Obesity a public health problem. So manly issues that #cycling solves. #activetravel #ClimateAction #healthcare

One of the more spectacular views from a bus stop. So far today 76 to Woodseats to pick up a few bits, then 24 down the hill to find the elusive rainwater diverted. Waiting for 25 here.

Yep @nomapod is one of them that cycles & plenty of his colleagues. Cycled to & from my outpatient apt today too & beat a car doing the same journey home. Queues everywhere & round the multistorey.. you can't do without bikes, can you imagine what the roads would be like then?

In order to get bus there, we have had to: 1. Do an hour's research to find the one bus that can get us near enough; 2. Get 9yo out of school early; 3. Leave work early; 4. Arrive an hour earlier than we need to be there. And we haven't managed to sort a route home yet!

When you adjust for population size, the death toll in Gaza is 10 times bigger than the invasion of Iraq over the same time period.
After 24 days of IDF’s onslaught on #Gaza we can draw some disturbing comparisons to the invasion of #Iraq in 2003. Iraq (pop. 27m) had no airforce but remained a militarised country; nonetheless their forces were vanquished in 21 days. The accompanying civilian carnage caused by the US/UK then tailed off until the attacks on Falluja in 2004. In #Gaza (pop. 2.3m), Hamas—a vastly smaller force—is unvanquished after 24 days.  The IDF’s civilian death toll is even higher than US/UK’s over the same time period, and shows no signs of tailing off. And when expressed as a proportion of the population, this is more than 10x higher than for Iraq over the same number of days. (We consider #Gaza’s killed to be overwhelmingly civilians—see twitter.com/iraqbodycount/st…)
