Doing indie animation is hard work, you should respect creators, and they don't owe you anything. Some of us are not even making money with it and do it purely for love. In my case i barely get comms or tips and i'm making fully animated stuff all the time just bc i want to.

Like, imagine being a solo indie creator making a fully animated animated series alone with no budget, barely any comms, no access to kickstarter or any crowdfunding platform, unemployed, and still do it because i love my story. (That's me btw)

I might just be a sap, but I will always want more artistic expressions from more people. Even if something doesn't appeal to me, I like when art exists without inhibitions. It makes me a bit sad that the current culture around indie is moving away from fostering that.
