This week’s @bbcradio3 Unclassified was an Erik Satie special to mark the 100th anniversary of his death and to celebrate his enormous influence on ambient music. I was absolutely thrilled to welcome three of my favourite artists to write new music in tribute to him. The excellent 💫 @rafiqbhatia 🌟 @C_Smickersgill & ⭐ Matthew Bourne each wrote a brand new Satie-inspired piece which premiered on the show. They are stunning.
