.@SuperteamIN was my intro into solana. it introduced me to a community of people building ambitious things and made me believe i could be one of them too.

people often think the goal of free time is to do as little as possible and consume entertainment passively. we treat ourselves like batteries that need recharging. but this habit comes from forgetting that our time is precious and meaningful. instead of trying to kill time, we should use leisure to feel more alive.

i keep a section in my notes for every setback and failure from each week and then month. the goal isn't to keep the number low but it's to increase it. most of these come from applying for things, reaching out to people, or attempting things that seem a little odd from my current situation. basically, the goal is to keep increasing the count. if it's going up, it means i'm taking enough shots.

My favorite @elonmusk quote that I often send friends: Do not fear losing. โ€œYou will lose,โ€ Musk says. โ€œIt will hurt the first fifty times. When you get used to losing, you will play each game with less emotion.โ€ You will be more fearless, take more risks.

When startups fail the reason is almost always that they haven't made what people want.

wow, the weirdest thing on the list in the stablecoin category: tether is #1. despite years of criticism, skepticism, and predictions of its collapse, it remains the largest stablecoin company. fortune.com/ranking/crypto/2โ€ฆ

steve jobs on how to build the product: > develop taste by studying great things > make lots of mistakes > learn from every iteration > obsess over the small details > don't stop when it's good enough > keep refining until, it's great

great things in business are never done by one person. they're done by a team of people.
Be real : Do you actually believe a solo founder can build a billion-dollar business?

as a solo builder, it feels like you should never take a break from your product. but i highly recommend doing exactly that. when you're so deep in the work, your head gets crowded with ideas, problems, and noise. taking a few days off clears that space, and somehow the best ideas show up when you're away from the screen. ps. twitting this from a train while reading โ€œmake something wonderfulโ€œ after coming back from a 3-day holiday.

Itโ€™s no longer sufficient to build it and hope they come. You need to find your core users, and constantly be thinking about distribution and amplification. - Get your first users through @solanamobile - Distribute locally through @superteam - Amplify through podcasts, spaces, livestreams and content creators - Make friends IRL and online who care about you and your vision The best place to get distribution in crypto is on @Solana.
I think the challenge is that everyone can now build apps But 1) almost nobody has distribution (like an audience), or 2) the money to pay for distribution (ads or UGC), or 3) the creative genius to get distribution for free (classically called guerilla marketing)

my technical blogs still get read by humans. there are 1% of people out there still reading and learning things like itโ€™s the 2010-2015 era.

shipped a small app for myself. i'm traveling for a week with barely any internet, so i built an offline reading app that stores all the essays, articles, and rabbit holes i want to read. just a personal library that fits in my pocket.
