Web3 lives. The issuance of the US government directive to suspend Fable 5 and Mythos access will be remembered as the turning point. Read → Write → Own

What real crypto adoption looks like in practice: → quiet behind-the-scenes implementations that boost internal business efficiencies Today it's Cartier, but it's probably already another brand you admire as well.
Jun 12
just found out Cartier (the watch brand) is using stablecoins to move money globally internally in its business. a 200 year old watch dynasty is adopting stablecoin rails. that should tell you everything you need to know. at this rate, stablecoins as a rail will inevitably flip ACH and Wires in the next 5 years as the superior way to move money around the world. stablecoins are faster cheaper and more efficient than any legacy payment system

Web3 Devs Underground (@Web3_Devs) is a really neat org based here in TLV. They organize informative - and highly technical - online and offline events with top builders and academics in Web3 and cryptography. This upcoming online event would be a great first watch.
AMMs are ground zero for MEV → Sandwich attacks, front-running, and the hidden tax on every DeFi trade, all enabled by how transactions get ordered. But what if ordering itself could be fair by default? Join us THIS WEDNESDAY for a deep technical dive into CLVR, a mechanism that rethinks AMM transaction sequencing and eliminates sandwich attacks by design with @NChemaya of @BenGurionUni. What we're breaking down: • CLVR ordering vs. first-come-first-served • The anatomy of sandwich attacks and why AMMs are structurally vulnerable 🥪 • The math: batch auctions, uniform clearing prices, fairness/latency/throughput tradeoffs • How CLVR stacks up against commit-reveal, encrypted mempools, and SUAVE • Design implications if you're building an AMM, aggregator, or intent-based system 📅 Wednesday, May 13th 🕐 10:00 EDT | 16:00 CET | 17:00 IDT If you're building or auditing DeFi protocols, this one goes straight to the core. Fraud proofs have been on the @helloSQD roadmap for a long time. They've been needed and requested by SQD customers from the start. Now they are here. Pay attention to Snoopy - I expect this cryptographic primitive to be widely adopted.
1/ A new piece on how we validate blockchain data at SQD, and it’s mostly about the mechanics: trie roots, bloom filters, parent hashes, with a big deal of details. What it doesn’t really get into is why we ended up building this the way we did, which is worth saying out loud

Little known fact, but the 'Portal' name was my idea. An actual self-hosted portal to limitless onchain insights. Deeper.

Want to see the new SQD Pipes-SDK in action? SQD engineer @iankguimaraes built a real-time stablecoin tracker for EVM - fully embedded in a TypeScript project (works in Node and in the browser). No separate indexer service. Just plug Pipes into your app and ship faster.

Dahlia Malkhi solved what Bitcoin couldn't. Without her, we wouldn’t have linearized consensus, SMPC, and several other important developments in cryptographic distributed systems. Her ethos of algorithmic simplicity and collaboration is evident across all her work, including as an advisor to SpaceComputer. @dahlia_malkhi's academic and professional pursuits shaped the crypto sector into what it is today. SpaceTEE - one cornerstone of @SpaceComputerIO's stack. Get to know it in the QT.
Space TEE = SpaceTEE ∴ SpaceTEE Cubesat = ultra-secure computation in low earth orbit (LEO) SpaceTEEs run on CPUs that are small, energy-efficient, and built to withstand radiation. SpaceTEEs can securely: 🔑 Generate Keys 🏆 Certificate signing 🛰️ Maintain a cryptographic accumulator Catch the breakdown with @rezabfil 👇

The Ultimate Offshore Bank is No Longer on Earth. I used to think my money was safe just because I could see the bank down the street. Then I realized how fragile "safe" really is on Earth. We all have that moment where we realize the systems we trust like banks, governments, data centers are just buildings. They can be raided, censored, or shut down by a single signature or a power outage. It scares me to think that everything I’ve worked for relies on someone else’s permission. That’s why I’ve been obsessing over @SpaceComputerIO . They aren’t just building another crypto project; they are launching the financial system into orbit literally. They are putting blockchain nodes on satellites. Think about it. → Physical Isolation: You can’t raid a server floating in the vacuum of space at 17,000 mph. → True Sovereignty: It’s an economy that doesn’t care about borders or local politics. → Cosmic Security: They use actual space radiation to create unbreakable encryption keys. This is the offshore bank for the Interplanetary Space Age. It’s for the pioneers and the misfits who want true freedom. Are you ready to leave the jurisdiction of Earth?

Projects raise millions of dollars from seed and pre-seed investors through founder personality and insight. They then hire some rando with little idea what the project is about, who sends out generic nonsense to a crypto ecosystem that is more hungry for the genuine than ever.
