In UP’s Banda district, a father allegedly st@bbed his 19-year-old daughter to de@th with a knife inside a police station. Shivani, had eloped from home on May 18 and entered into a love marriage. Police "rescued" the couple from Madhya Pradesh and brought them to Badousa police station for further proceedings. The victim’s father, Satya Kumar Chauhan, also reached the police station. During counseling and statement recording, Shivani reportedly insisted on living with her husband, Lalit Verma. At that point, her father allegedly att@cked her with a knife. She was rushed to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Just watched @TellingRavindra on News 24, saying that within the last 12 years, when there hasn't been a Congress government in the state, in almost 40 Rajya Sabha seats, Congress has managed only 2, no matter their MLA numbers. This is criminal complacency.
