Favour Ofili won the women's 200m at the LA Grand Prix, and it was a good performance from her, running into a headwind to win her first 200m race in 2026.
Ofili claimed an easy victory, winning the race in 22.45s (-3.1), way ahead of Gemima Joseph who was 2nd in 22.88s, and Rosemary Chukwuma grabbing 3rd spot in 22.94s

Lemngole was DQ'ed for taking too many steps over the inside line under rule R: 15.5-3g.
She originally captured the victory in 15:11.71. Marion Jepngetich has been awarded the win but Alabama is protesting the ruling.
