If the country isn’t going to build more universities of technology and universities, then we either need to review the Matric pass mark or basic education must create diversion streams from Grade 11 for those who simply won’t get a seat in existing further education and training facilities without attaining a certain APS by the end of that year. Into something, anything that isn’t young people stuck and idle at home.
