Hard to believe it's been fifteen years.
Equally hard to believe it was just fifteen years ago.

April 16, 2011, is a day that is etched into my memory forever. For many, it is a day they wished they could forget.
It was the largest one-day tornado break on record in NC, and it took 24 fellow North Carolinians from us.
I'll share some thoughts today.

Agreed. Atmosphere was unreal. Most fun I’ve had there in a long time, and my 9yo was into it. I fully expected she’d want to leave in the 2nd half but she was having none of it.

Since the @PackFootball-@UNCFootball rivalry moved to the end of the season in 2006, it's not surprising the game has produced three of the #ColdestKickoffs in Carter-Finley Stadium history. Tonight's game could make the top five of the Wolfpack's 15 coldest, @nsj predicts, with game-time temp projected between 32 to 38 degrees.

Periodic reminder: A “ground stop” for XYZ airport means traffic destined to fly to XYZ is being held on the ground at their points of origin, not that anything has “stopped” at XYZ.
So, a ground stop for CLT means planes at *other airports* are being held up.
