Be nice if they could cross a lentil with a lupin or even rye. Sand is awful πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

Beginning to wonder what the big fuss is with canola seed placement. Just sit it on top of the ground and away she goes. Hail does a magnificent job

A bloke told me stored moisture was worth 3 times the rainfall this yr. I think he must be right

Anyone with a dot series CR had strife with unloading auger not kicking into gear. Shear pin fine and makes the noise as in about to start up only to met with silence. First box full of lentils can have a sleepover tonight. And yes was working when it was serviced 3 weeks ago πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

Has anyone put in or taken out a lift kit on a macdon front? Just after some instructions. Too high with lift kit for lentils

Assessing the damage this morning. Doesn’t seem to be anything that hasn’t been flogged. As wide spread as I’ve ever seen it. 10-15km wide strip πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ the spraying to follow will rub salt in the wound

1000 hours old and only gets morning sun most of its life. Have a header the same. Stickers aren’t like they used to be. Got a local guy to do truck stickers and you couldnt get them off with a pressure cleaner if you tried.

Anyone with a cub cadet mower or similar experienced this before. Something is obviously out of balance. I’ve changes the idler pulleys and blades for no change. Feels like is gonna rattle to pieces

Valiant left, scepter right. Both equally frosted as bad as each other. Looks can be deceiving! Our team cover a very big region, there’s a lot of grain not going to enter the market because of this frost πŸ‘ŽπŸ₯Ά

Does anyone have the secret to growing lentils on sand πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ certainly rubbish compared to the heavy flats that I’d expect dead after 120mm of rain. It’s too the line. Should grow a hell of a wheat crop on that sand next yr. Reflex and terbyne pre em. Might be the issue

Is lentil depth a myth? Aimed for 50mm to avoid reflex and terbyne damage. Had a hose come off and these were left on top (obviously too thick) but way more vigour and no signs of chem damage. Still learning

They’re out in force this morning πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ starting to wonder how much damage they’ve actually caused. Alpha in with the lemat next yr I reckon

Check ya lentils peeps. These are only supposed to like cereals apparently. Stripped a heap in the patches I don’t see from the road. Used lemat 2-3 weeks ago. Alpha for these bad boys 🫣

Rolling and wondered why the lentils had gone so backwards in patches with plenty of moisture underneath. Turns out these bastards don’t mind lentils as well as cereals. Omethoate clearly didn’t touch them so back this week with alpha. Rolling can wait

Nice to get away for a week. Actually notice things moving along. Bit of insect pressure in the barley

Anyone running the top con x35 that has a fix for it coming back on line (using auto turn) between 30-60cm offline. Have to disengage and re engage when turning right more often than not. No one seems to have answers.
