I’m still learning distribution. But here are my lessons so far.
I have two types of products.
One is consumer products and I want them to go viral. Here, my strategy is to pay influencers in a particular niche. For apps targeting drivers, I use car/automotive influencers.
The second is vertical saas, and I want a long term lock in. Here I am doing brand communication, how my product solves business problems and do cold outreach. For logistics, figure out who is likely going to make purchase decisions, and target them directly with value proposition and wedge.
So far, these are experimental, and I am still figuring out things, and fine tuning what works.
