Most studios I see are soulless. Boring minimal logos with no meaning. Style over substance and obsessed with aesthetics that completely miss the user experience goal for the client. AI is accelerating bad design, it’s still a craft whether you use AI or not. However, this makes great design easier to appreciate.

I treated myself to the RK M75 mechanical keyboard and the Corsair Xeneon Edge mini monitor to improve the setup today, with some animated wallpapers using Backdrop. I love having the dock on the bottom monitor and pulling up meeting notes. Also because its touchscreen I can answer calls on my VOIP phone or Whatsapp.

It’s funny seeing vibe coders give advice to others about building apps. Then realise just how screwed they are after launch, with no experience of scaling, infrastructure or… code. Building an MVP is easy with the right approach and tooling. Launching a SaaS product and building a profitable software company is one of the toughest business challenges you’ll encounter. Forget the unicorns, build micro products to solve problems and find your audience. Sell to 100 people who love it rather than 10,000 who churn after a month.

Authentic is better than staged – 100% of the time. Remember, success is a journey, not a destination.
