Important report from @hpg_odi. Guess what? Humanitarian system not working for internally displaced people. Solutions are familiar - more accountability to affected people, better coordination, and so on.
Humanitarian responses to internal displacement are often too slow and not joined up. But there are clear and effective steps that can be taken to better support those affected by internal displacement – learn more in these new findings 👉 buff.ly/3PzRTd4

Listen to the testimonies of these women and children whose only open shelters were burnt down at the command of the UNHCR. In Tripoli, Libya , newly arrived refugees from the Sudan’s conflict suffers the unimaginable as the @UNHCRLibya kicks them here and there. We have sent so many communications to the UNHCR flagging the dire conditions of these women and children but they have served us with a complete negligence.

This is THE opportunity to hear all about it - IT being the centrality of listening to people if we’re to have a fighting chance of tackling climate change.
T minus 2 days until I get to dust off my moderating shoes (they’re amazing but you won’t see them) as this all star panel tackle closing the gap between climate adaptation spending and what people actually want and need

Well put
I cannot continue to hear the rubbish “wage-price spiral” it’s quite obvious we are in a profits-price spiral. Super market bosses and the richest people in the country are getting wealthier while ordinary people getting poorer: It is not our wages that are the problem. #r4today
