L'Étoile (the star). I'm always fascinated when I see the aerial view of it!
How did they even manage to plan such a symmetrical landscape in a big city like Paris?
When you zoom out on Google Maps, you realize it's the center of Paris and even of France...
It all started in 1770 with the Marquis de Marigny,
who paved the roads around the end of the Champs-Élysées in the shape of a star.
In the centuries that followed, people like Napoleon and many others perfected Paris around it...
All of this makes me realize how important it is to start with a good plan to create a solid foundation to build upon.
With the right vision, determination, and the help of others, we can achieve things in our lives that we can look back on and feel fascinated by as well!
Seeing my kids enjoy time on the beach with friends reminds me of how happiness can be found in the simple things in life.
Wealth is more than 7-figures in your bank account!
Believe, and it will happen!
A few weeks ago I missed out on seeing turtles but I told you I would still get to see them before we return back to The Netherlands.
It was incredible meeting these beautiful creatures. ❤️🐢
Thanks @nxtlevelguy for the video edit!
This morning i was in doubt: should I take a well-deserved rest day or go for a hardcore deadlift workout after a long caribbean night🌴🍸🕺🇦🇼
At times, there's no need to push yourself too hard; instead, just enjoy a relaxing walk along your favorite beach😍
Mountains are only a problem when they are bigger than you!
After a challenging week, things got worse yesterday.
Following a bad night, it was time to take on Aruba's largest mountain: the Hooiberg!
So, I decided to take on a challenge and conquer the Hooiberg three times in a row (3600 steps) at noon.
Starting the third ascent felt really foolish.
As I neared the top, I heard a few people shouting:
"Holy shit, that guy is going to lap us on his third lap"
I was so focused on my pace I haven't even see them before.
This challenge made me realize that tackling problems is done step by step.
Just keep on grinding , not giving up, and eventually, you will reach the top!
How my 9-year-old son schooled me and gave me a lesson in faith.. The other day he expressed his desire to snorkel with stingrays. As being an regular scuba diver, I explained how spotting a stingray isn't easy. He responded, "Dad, you need more belief! Let's go snorkeling and
we'll find a stingray.". So we went to our favorite snorkel spot, searched for 45 minutes, and finally spotted a stunning stingray. Back on ashore, I asked if he was satisfied. He looked at me with seriousness, saying, "See, Dad? Have more faith."
