Created in 1967, the Red Arrow Award honors those individuals who are not Arrowmen, but rendered outstanding service to the OA. Less than 70 people have been recognized with this honor since its inception. At each NOAC, the Red Arrow Award is presented to these individuals.

The Distinguished Service Award honors Order of the Arrow members, youth and adults, who have rendered distinguished and outstanding service to the OA on a sectional, regional, or national basis. Since 1940, around 1000 people, including the 2022 class, have received the DSA.
