Ocala Police responded to a report of a shooting at Paddock Mall. Upon arrival, officers found no evidence that a shooting had occurred. There were no reported injuries.

Officers are currently investigating the incident and are working to clear the scene. We expect the mall to resume normal operations shortly. An update will be provided as more information becomes available.

🚨 Traffic Alert: There was a crash involving a pedestrian at S Pine Ave. and SW Broadway St. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Northbound traffic on S Pine Ave. is being rerouted at SW Fort King St.
