I taught myself blender in my 30's and got a job within a year. Never too late, especially in fields were a good portfolio can trump education/experience
I taught kids 3d for years, two different unis. Was crushing to see how 99% of them didn't realize they were already too late. Like if you're a Junior and you haven't been grinding 3d reps the whole time, you prob can't catch up. Your competition has been no-life-ing it since 15.

You would think they would hard code answers into chat gpt for things it CANT DO. It will literally ask you if you want to upscale your image to 4k then spit out a 1250px image.

Minute cryptic is the best daily brain workout. Better than wordle etc
the cryptic crossword is an extremely british coded cultural pursuit because it is about inferring and operating based on a set of complex, hidden but completely prescriptive rules. I've landed on "person explaining cryptic crossword clues" TikTok, where the presumably international audience in the comment section is completely dumbfounded because the rules are so odd but completely deterministic - you can't just do whatever you like, it literally tells you what to do - but to the outsider it looks like numberwang

Feel like I'm going insane. I googled "who is banksy?" About 15 years ago and got the same answer.
One of the Reuters journalists who unmasked Banksy did an AMA on Reddit and wow, did people not like it. reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1…

Crazy fact I learned today is that whales and dolphins swim moving their tail up and down vs normal fish who go side to side because they evolved to walk on land, and then at some stage decided they were going to go back in the water because the land sucked.

We need an extra button next to the retweet or comments that is a 🤖 and we can press it if we think someone is a bot. Then everyone has a bot score.

Team sheet looked very dodgy but playing Dorgu LW looks to be a very clever move so far.

These principles will last about as long as the non profit did.

We are starting to test ads in ChatGPT free and Go (new $8/month option) tiers. Here are our principles. Most importantly, we will not accept money to influence the answer ChatGPT gives you, and we keep your conversations private from advertisers. It is clear to us that a lot of people want to use a lot of AI and don't want to pay, so we are are hopeful a business model like this can work. (An example of ads I like are on Instagram, where I've found stuff I like that I otherwise never would have. We will try to make ads ever more useful to users.)

Was checking my Twitter analytics for the first time ever and it says 99.99% of the people viewing my tweets are non followers. Safe to say the idea of having followers is now completely dead! I think eventually all social media platforms will just remove that metric completely.

It's sad that all people seem to talk about was the poor ending when Lost had 2 or 3 of the best season finales of all time.
The plot twist in this episode was a 10/10.

Very noticeable how many videos have people with just zero self preservation, either walking in front of the shooters, hanging around, or just standing filming in close proximity. Obv linked to the rarity of it happening there but still quite surprising to see.
Mike Ortiz, 30, who lives in Belmore, was sitting on the grass by the beach at the time when he heard around 10 gunshots ring out. He took his camera and filmed crowds of people running out of the sea and up towards him while the shots continue. He told The Telegraph: “It happened so fast, we heard gunshots, immediately everyone was running away. I couldn’t see directly where it was all happening. You used to just be able to tweet things and if they were good you would grow a following. None of this 1000 replies a day crap.
