The #InternetArchive was never meant to be your personal filesharing server. Too many abuse it with piracy disguised as preservation. It paints a bigger target for copyright lawyers on a vital digital institution. Imagine the cost of DMCA compliance alone! Oof.

With all the tribulations they go through just trying to be a digital LIBRARY, dealing with public domain and fair use content, I don't think they need the added flak of media companies bearing down on them even harder because people keep uploading bait into their collections.

This year I'm raising money for Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society (GEARS) the org that adopted to me my dog, Sam. I'm gonna mod & polish up a Game Boy Pocket, and a donation over $5 will enter you in a draw for it when we hit $1000. Fydo's Magic tiles included, of course.
