$8 MILLION of ARPA funding that would have replaced 15 aging transmitters that are over 30 years old. Both House and Senate overwhelmingly passed this money with bipartisan support. Out of $1 billion in ARPA funds, state legislators approved $8 million to do maintenance on the WARN system. This system sends messages to cell phones even when internet networks are down.
