I've always been curious about the future of technology and where it will lead humanity. Blade Runner. Ghost in the Shell. Astro Boy. Cyberpunk. The kinds of stories that ask, “What happens next to humanity?” and don’t flinch at the answer. When AI became accessible for everyday use, I thought about creating a blog around these ideas and building a community around future discussions. But I felt like I was missing something. Then one day, my fiancé mentioned there was going to be a Cursor Café in Cluj. And as someone who finished both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees with perfect scores, I couldn’t go there unprepared 😄 So I decided I needed to create something. And at that moment, I came up with the idea that became the missing piece for building the kind of community I had imagined. An additional motivation for me to work faster and harder on this idea was the fact that my fiancé and I became participants in the first Uneed Residency batch. It’s an amazing opportunity, and I hope I’ll also be able to add value there. That’s how Prediction Jar was born 🫙 Prediction Jar is a community for people who think about the future of technology, science, and society. Record your predictions. Discuss them. Track them as the world evolves. Find out together when the time comes. Just ideas, on the record. Discussions and Inspiration Starting today, Prediction Jar is ready to welcome your ideas, predictions, and discussions 🥳🎊🎉 And congrats to me on launching my very first project hehe 😄 🎉🥳🎊☺️ I hope we can build a great community of future thinkers together. Predictionjar.com is officially live today🫙 What’s your first prediction? #Predictionjar @DmytroBavykin @cursor_ai @T_Zahil @UneedLists #Uneedresidency #buildinpublic #cursorcafe #firstlaunch

Everyone told me: "Just fill your platform with Elon Musk's predictions." And my first thought was - is that even legal? What I found? I CAN do it. But the line between "totally legal" and "lawsuit" is thinner than you think. Full story 🧵

I've been thinking about this for days and I still don't have an answer. So I'm just going to ask. What would actually make you open this app and not close it immediately? Are predictions from popular people mandatory, or just nice to have? What would make you want to use PredictionJar.com?

I started this to answer one simple question: what did we actually think the future would look like? Now I'm the one who can't figure out what to do next. Three options. I've been going back and forth for days. What would you do? Take a risk?

What do you think about Beauvais Airport? Why do their processes feel so different from other airports? For me, it somehow felt both less organized and over-organized at the same time. But the city is amazing! I didn’t expect to see beauty at every step. If you travel through this airport, make a one-night stop in the city. It’s definitely worth it.

I know this probably won’t be the most interesting post, but I have an unclosed gestalt ahaha. So here it is DAY 8: Departure. The real last day of Uneed Residency, May–June 2026. That morning, I was still finishing packing, then rushing to make it to the shared table and say “see you” to everyone. Thank you @ema_totaro for the most wonderful omelette. By the way, he cooks really well. I only got to try this one dish, but I had already heard a lot from the other residents hehe. After that, I went back to the room to finish packing again. This time definitely everything. And then @DmytroBavykin and I went around trying to take as many photos with everyone as possible. Leaving the residency, and even now, I don’t feel like it really ended. It feels more like it was only the beginning. And I really value that feeling. Thank you to everyone who was part of this residency. Let’s make this meeting only the first one And thank you @T_Zahil for giving us a ride, and for such wonderful company. I even got one more chance to admire the sweet little potato hehe. And @DmytroKrasun really did not want to take photos with us that morning, even though we were literally trying to convince him 😁

Looks like a “time to update” evening Noticed this only because @T_Zahil convinced me to download @raycast Btw, do you update every time a new software update is available, or do you wait for a specific version?

DAY 7 of Uneed Residency in short: – Workshop by @Pauline_Cx – Advices from @DmytroKrasun — can you guess what he meant based on the photo? 😄 – And some really useful life hacks from @benjamincode and @T_Zahil – I interviewed some wonderful people: @arnoio, @ikoichi and @heymattia, @Pauline_Cx We talked about the impact of AI on indie building, personal experience, and my favorite part - the technologies they’re most excited to see become real. I really want to interview all the residents or better said, friends. I’ll definitely continue with online interviews. Does anyone know the best software for this? And whose interview would you like to see first? 👀 – For the first time during the whole residency, it started raining. @T_Zahil told, this is normal weather for Nantes, and I prefer the theory that we made the city too hot with all our energy and synergy ahaha. – Cozy last evening of the residency. – We finally found the best cornhole player. Unexpectedly, it was someone who played for the first time in his life and beat our previous champions @MaxInPublic, @benjamincode, @DmytroBavykin - @heymattia 🏆 No wonder I lost to him in the first round! – Such a beautiful idea to have every resident sign the T-shirts. Only sad that @cinamarina and @arnoio had already left before we did it. So @T_Zahil here’s one thing to improve for the next residency: T-shirt signing should happen on the last day when all residents are still there 😄 #uneedresidency

DAY 6 of Uneed Residency in short: – Morning walk in Nantes and testing local coffee. After the previous football-day chaos, Nantes turned into a calm, bright, beautiful city where you could feel a lot of space. – Then I spent most of the day recovering and almost fell asleep at the big kitchen-working residency table. All the previous days and the next Day 7 too were incredibly intense, but in the best possible way. That pleasant kind of tiredness. (And of course, there was no hiding from the residency paparazzi ahaha.) – We gathered for a group photo, while our queen and king @T_Zahil were watching us from above and even waved at us ahahaha. – Had a very helpful conversation with @benjamincode about my product. Really grateful for his openness and feedback, it helped me come to some important thoughts. – Ended the day with a cozy shared dinner and board games. I’d wanted to play them the whole residency, and finally it happened! – Discovered a new game for myself: Secret Identity. Highly recommend for any occasion and situation ahah 😄

DAY 5 of Uneed Residency in short: – TikTok is not just about videos. Great presentation from @ema_totaro about TikTok and how much more there is behind the platform. – Gave an interview to @benjamincode – Interviewed @benjamincode and @T_Zahil about the technologies they’re most excited to see become real. What do you think their answers are?🤔 – Visited Nantes all together for the first time. – The city is so well structured, with beautiful architecture and flowers everywhere. – Rameeeeen – And yes, we don’t only write code or use AI ahaha 😄

DAY 4 of Uneed Residency in short: – Launched on @UneedLists for the first time with my first-ever project 😱 – @T_Zahil was my coach for two hours. – We had some interviews today talking about building, motivation, and why we’re here. – Found out it was a girls’ launch day on Uneed today hehe 💅@SoraiaDev @Pauline_Cx – Had a huge Social Friday event with so many amazing people from tech and the presentation from @AnnikaLjash – Somewhere during all those conversations, I finally formulated my bigger mission: to create a European tech community. More details later 👀 – Practiced my short pitch in front of around 40 people from tech for the first time 😱 – We cooked an amazing dinner , especially thanks to @arnoio and @hugolassiege – Prediction Jar got 3rd place on Uneed launch day 🚀🎉 Huge thanks to everyone who supported and voted, it means a lot!
