Netherton Library are inviting children to take part in Stories on the Square. Deadline is Wednesday 20th November.
Winners will be announced at the Netherton Christmas Light Switch On, on 27th November. All entries will be collated into a booklet for everyone to keep and read.
ALT Poster decorated with Christmas imagery. Stories on the Square - Children's Creative Writing Contest. Two categories - 7-&-under and Over-7s with prizes awarded in each category. Pick up your entry form from Netherton Library, L30 Community Centre, Feelgood Factory, St. Mark's Community Grocery, Emmanuel Baptist Church or St. Oswald's Church. Return a completed form and story to those same locations. Closing date Wednesday 20th November. Have fun and be creative!

As part of the kNOw Knife Crime campaign and Knifesavers, our children took part in a mini marathon before summer. As a result, we now have a bleed kit accessible for our community outside our school.

As part of the Year 2 @accessart topic, pupils were ‘feels drawing’. They explored the object in their hands and then drew what they could feel. It was such a wonderful lesson and the children were so thoughtful and purposeful in their sketching.
