just found out Cartier (the watch brand) is using stablecoins to move money globally internally in its business.
a 200 year old watch dynasty is adopting stablecoin rails.
that should tell you everything you need to know.
at this rate, stablecoins as a rail will inevitably flip ACH and Wires in the next 5 years as the superior way to move money around the world.
stablecoins are faster cheaper and more efficient than any legacy payment system

🟠 What Still Needs to be Proven
While this is a great product, it's playing in new waters and some things are yet to be proven:
— Can a prediction market with a social feed retain users beyond curiosity?
— Will Sage actually close the interest-to-action gap, or create new trust issues?
— Liquidity depth: can the market-making hold up at scale?
— Some regions are still geoblocked — regulatory expansion is a real bottleneck
— The leaderboard is live and showing real users (top performer at 78% win rate), but the user base is still early
In my opinion, these are the right problems to have.

🟠My take:
Hot Take is the first prediction market I've used that feels like it was designed for someone who has opinions, not someone who has a Bloomberg terminal.
The founder is buildingfrom Nigeria, on Solana.
He won the SuperteamNG x Raenest Colosseum Frontier Hackathon side track.
The product is live and real money is moving through it.
If the thesis is right — that prediction markets belong in everyone's hands and the interface is the only thing standing in the way — then Hot Take is the most important consumer app in this Colosseum cohort.
