The way that the Shion trailer, last week’s webtoon, short story and this comic are coming together to tell the story is everything I had hoped for when it comes to Overwatch lore. Can’t wait to see it continue in game and whatever other medium they have planned.

I really wanted Kiriko to be a dps, but the hero design we needed at the time was a healer. The struggle of fitting her to a healer while keeping some of the original design resulted in a pretty cool character. It doesn’t always work out that way though.

This is slowly becoming one of the best story lines in Overwatch history. It ties up events that started a decade ago. For a first time in 10 years some of the Overwatch team is about to meet Hanzo in canon lore. Season 3 could be a huge moment in the lore. Can’t wait!
