The First Kiss – Part 4 💕
As winter gave way to early spring, they stepped beyond their stream for the first time together.
Frank surprised Ella with a weekend in a charming lakeside town two hours away. They wandered through a bustling farmers’ market, tasting fresh honey and warm bread, laughing as they tried on silly handmade hats.
That evening, in a tiny jazz café, they danced for the first time slow, clumsy steps under soft golden lights. Ella rested her head on his chest, feeling his heartbeat sync with the saxophone.
“You’re trembling,” he whispered, smiling.
“Because this feels even scarier and better than our first kiss,” she replied.
Back at their rented cottage, they cooked pasta together, flour dusting their clothes and laughter filling the kitchen. Later, wrapped in one blanket on the porch, they watched fireflies dance over the lake new lights, new place, same undeniable pull toward each other.
Frank kissed her temple. “Every new thing with you just feels like coming home.”
Their love was growing beyond one special spot blooming wherever they went, stronger with every shared discovery.

The First Kiss – Part 3 💕
The next weekend, they slipped away to the stream again under a clear autumn sky. Golden leaves drifted down like soft confetti as they walked hand in hand along the water’s edge.
Ella touched the silver pendant at her neck. “This still gives me butterflies,” she said softly.
Frank stopped, turning to face her. “Good. Because every time I see it on you, I remember exactly why I fell in love.”
They sat on their favorite flat rock, shoulders touching, sharing quiet laughter and stolen kisses. No big plans this time just the simple joy of being together.
As the sun began to set, painting the stream in warm amber, Frank whispered, “I don’t need forever to sound complicated. I just want all my tomorrows to start like this… with you.”
Ella rested her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. “Then that’s exactly what we’ll have.”
In the golden light by their stream, their love felt peaceful, certain, and beautifully enough. ❤️
