Examples of praying with vision: • Career: “God, help me grow into a skilled filmmaker and open the right doors.” • Marriage: “Lord, shape me into a faithful husband and prepare me for a godly marriage.” • Character: “Help me become disciplined, wise, and consistent.” Without vision, prayer can become vague: “God bless me” → that’s unclear. God should bless you with what? 🤷🏽‍♂️ With vision, prayer becomes intentional: “God, give me wisdom, discipline, and opportunities to build financial stability this year.” Okay, vision is good, but God’s will matters more than our plans, as we see in Proverbs 19:21: “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” So yes, pray with vision, but hold that vision with humility, allowing Jesus Christ’s prayer: “Not my will, but Yours be done.”

Let’s learn a word: Mellifluous (mel-LIF-loo-uss). It's an adjective. You know when you hear a sound that's smooth, sweet, and flows like honey. Something pleasant to the ears, that's Mellifluous For example: “Her mellifluous voice turned the ordinary story into poetry.”

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the incredible wife You are preparing for me. Help me remain faithful in prayer and purity before my wife and I meet and throughout our marriage. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This reminds me that in marriage, two become one. So secrecy becomes dangerous because it creates division where there should be unity. Trust and love flourish in openness.

Dying to self is not about losing identity, it’s about losing the version of you that was never God's design🤍

I learned from my parents that marriage is more than romance or partnership. It’s about becoming the kind of person whose character builds a lasting, faith-centered legacy. Love is visible in service, sacrifice, patience, responsibility, and ordinary moments. ❤️
