Our Executive Director, Ségolène du Closel, and our Vice President, Pablo Sigriest, were present to receive the award.
As a European Federation of 50 NGOs committed to the defence of human dignity from conception to natural death, One of Us welcomes this recognition with gratitude. This award strengthens our resolve to continue advancing our work in defence of life and of the most vulnerable in our societies.

Thank you, MEP Elisabeth Dieringer, for recalling that the One of Us European Citizens’ Initiative collected far more signatures calling for the protection of life and human dignity, and that the European Commission failed to respect this voice in favour of life. What, then, would the Commission say today in response to the My Voice My Choice ECI, which calls for the destruction of life? The European Commission is under a clear obligation to respect the EU Treaties and the values they enshrine, especially the value of life
